Built from a lifelong love of collecting and the communities that surround it, Toying Around Presents is more than a content brand – it’s a creative collective dedicated to bringing people together through the things we love. From toys and collectibles to horror, movies, gaming, wrestling, comics, and everything in between, we celebrate fandom without taking ourselves too seriously. Through original content, live shows, immersive events, collaborations, and community driven experiences, our goal is to create something that feels different: a little punk rock, a little DIY, and always fueled by genuine passion.

Head Writer
Mike Wiener
Mike is a special educator, lifelong collector, creator, and unapologetic pop-culture
obsessive. Raised on action figures, horror movies, pro wrestling, superheroes, and
rock and roll, he never really saw a reason to grow out of any of it.

As the founder of Toying Around Presents, Mike channels those passions into creating
memorable experiences and connecting with fellow fans. At heart, he’s still just a kid who loves cool toys, scary movies, loud music, and sharing that excitement with others.
Marissa Pona
Marissa moonlights as an educator and administrator during the day. She spends her nights hosting Jersey Ghouls Podcast and planning events for Toying Around Presents.

She is a horror fanatic, but also enjoys MTG, Disney, DCC, and basically anything pop culture. When she isn't reading books and comics, she spends her time with her husband, teen daughters, and rescue black lab.Â
